Write for us
Genuine Cycling Review welcomes pitches from writers with a clear, original angle on bicycles, riding, routes, care or cycling culture. A good proposal gives readers something to understand or consider without relying on risky instructions, hype or insider shorthand.
What we are looking for
We are interested in evergreen explanations, comparisons, thoughtful histories and focused accounts of cycling customs or design. Strong pitches have a distinct subject, a reason it matters to general readers and a clear sense of what the finished piece will cover. Please avoid subjects that depend on local rules, unverified claims, product promotion or safety-critical repair steps.
Make the pitch specific
Tell us the proposed headline or subject, the central question, the main points you would explore and why the piece suits Genuine Cycling Review. Mention any sources or expertise relevant to the proposal, and disclose commercial interests connected to it. A short, focused pitch is more useful than a full draft sent without context.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Please do not include sensitive personal information or assume that a proposal has been accepted until we respond. We may ask for clarification before deciding whether a subject fits.
